Xiaomi officially launched the Redmi 10C in March 2022 in the global market. The phone has a 6.71-inch HD+ IPS LCD having a screen resolution of 720x1650px. It operates on Android 11 with MIUI 13, with a combination of Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 4G chipset and an octa-core processor of frequency up to 2.4GHz. The phone also includes an Adreno 610 GPU for improved graphical processing. The phone comes in different variants (depending on the market and region), with varied amounts of RAM (3GB or 4GB) and ROM (64GB or 128GB). It also includes a 50MP Primary camera with a 2MP depth sensor at the back and a 5MP selfie camera at the front. The phone also holds a powerful 5000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging for rapid recharge.
Redmi 10C is a value-for-money smartphone with decent performance, battery life, and camera quality within its price range. However, it does have a few shortcomings. The screen is not Full HD and lacks a high refresh rate that affect responsiveness of the display. Moreover, the plastic body feels cheap and makes the phone less durable. The 5MP front camera is also not much satisfactory and produces low-quality selfies making the camera less competitive in this era.
However, the Redmi 10C still could be a solid choice for budget-conscious users. While it does not stand out in screen quality, design, and camera performance, it still performs well in necessary functions such as speedy performance, good battery life, and software customization. Ultimately, the Redmi 10C could be a reliable choice for those seeking a budget-friendly smartphone that meets their basic needs.
