EXPERT SCORE
OVERALL PERFORMANCE
PROS
- Excellent Display
- Good Camera
- Decent Performance
CONS
- No 3.5mm Jack
Samsung Galaxy A53 is a mid-range phone that has captured attention for its attractive design and impressive features for its price point. It often described as a lite version of the Samsung Galaxy S22, bringing many of Galaxy S features at a lower price.
The camera experience of Galaxy A53 is considered one of the best you can get on a phone at this price point. Its four rear snappers combine with a long list of photography and videography modes that Samsung offers to let you take some surprisingly attractive pictures. It captures clear and bright pictures, perfect for sharing on Instagram or other social platforms.
However, Galaxy A53 also has a few drawbacks. It doesn’t hold a 3.5mm audio jack, which is necessary for many consumers to connect headsets. It may also have a slow charging experience compared to its competitor.
Despite these shortcomings, the A53 is still considered a well-rounded phone. It offers a big 120Hz display, decent performance for this price, and cameras that almost stack up to the competition. It also supports up to 1TB microSD cards. Overall, the Samsung Galaxy A53 is a brilliant mid-range phone, with an excellent display, top camera, and software support.
